What Is The "Real Olympics"?

On the other hand, Paralympic athletes seem to be seen in a completely different light. These athletes emphasize the true value of being able to compete. That pressure is truly a privilege, and we should never take for granted what God has given us the ability to do. It shows the joy of sports and how they can shape us into better people. The Paralympics are less about one's ego and more regarding commitment to being a better person for yourself, not being better than everyone else. It shows everyone has the ability to do great things.  The philosophy of welcoming diversity is more prominent in the Paralympic Games, uniting people regardless of physical or mental limitations.
Dr. Guttmann's statement about the Olympic Games is a powerful opinion on the true meaning of the games. Pierre's maxim indicates that the Paralympic Games better represent Olympic ideals than the actual competition. Participation and moral character are more important than obtaining a victory. Pierre's original ideal of the games seems to be portrayed differently from what was originally intended; these views are more prominent in the Paralympic games than in the Olympic games, as reflected in the current status of the two in 2026. The Olympics showcase more aggressive competition and skill, while the Paralympics highlight the accomplishments of going out there and overcoming yourself to develop greater moral character as an athlete.
One thing I have noticed is the way these two games are displayed to the public. The Olympic Games are filled with extensive media coverage, which creates more pressure on athletes to perform well. The environment can create a shift of focus, causing athletes to perform differently, and can even cause athletes to  promote things to get them more name, image, and likeness. In my opinion, the Olympics are about popularity and who is doing the best. Athletes and people in general become more noticed in their fields when they appear in the media more often. The media can genuinely make or break an Olympic athlete's reputation.
Overall, the Paralympic Games represent the Olympic ideal by highlighting participation, resilience, motivation, and the true meaning of effort. Intense competition exists in both games; the Paralympics is more in line with Pierre's observations. The way the two events are displayed commercially, inclusively, and perseveringly. That is why I agree with Dr. Guttmans claim that the Paralympics are the true "Real Olympics".
